Patients of Belarusian hospitals will be treated free of charge

In Belarusian health care institutions, patients of day hospitals will receive medical preparations for assistance. This was announced today, March 11, by Valentina Kursevich, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Health Care, Physical Education, Family and Youth Policy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, commenting on the new law on health care for the press. According to her, when the new law comes into force, those on treatment in day hospitals will not have to buy medicines themselves will provide them with everything necessary at the expense of the budget. At the same time, the tent noted, special attention will be paid to healing citizens of working age with chronic diseases. Kursevich is sure that innovations will not increase the burden on budgets. A new Health Care Act could be passed this year and come into force next year. We remind that formally health care in Belarus is free. At the same time, plans to provide paid services to the population are brought to hospital departments every year. Taxpayers constantly complain about the need to purchase expensive medical preparations and basic medical goods at their own expense, which strongly hits the budgets of pensioners.
