Soyuz MS-16 ship was refilled before flight to ISS

Specialists of the Baikonur launch site have completed the refuelling MS-16 the manned ship Soyuz with fuel and compressed gases, the press service of Roscosmos reports. The next stage of preparation of the manned ship for launch will be connection with the transition compartment of the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle. This operation is scheduled for March 30. The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a missile with the Soyuz MS-16 ship is scheduled for April 9. The manned ship will deliver two Roscosmos astronauts and a NASA astronaut to the International Space Station. The main crew includes Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Wagner and Christopher Cassidy, the duplicate Sergei Ryzhikov, Andrei Babkin and Stephen Bowen. As previously reported by the news agency, in March Roscosmos said that all specialists engaged in the preparation of upcoming launches from the Baikonur launch site will pass tests for coronavirus.
