UK intends to extend quarantine regime

British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab, acting Prime Minister of the country, is going to extend the quarantine regime in the UK due to the situation with coronavirus of a new type, reports The Guardian newspaper with reference to knowledgeable sources. According to her, the move will be Raab's first decision since British Head of Government Boris Johnson was in hospital with a confirmed COVID-19. Raab is expected to announce an extension of the quarantine in the country as early as 9 April. According to the news agency, 8 people died of coronavirus infection in 938 hospitals in 24 hours. The total number of victims of the disease in the United Kingdom reached 7,097.
