Almost 85% of schools will reopen in France

French Minister of National Education Jean-Michel Blanke said that 87 to 90% of municipalities have prepared for the beginning of the school year, reports BFM TV. Next week, just over a million pupils will typically return to their classrooms and about 130,000 teachers, the education secretary said. He said the rest of primary and secondary school teachers would continue to provide educational support. Jean-Michel Blanke also said priority would be given to pupils with disabilities, children of medical staff and pupils who dropped out. Thus, between 80 and 85% of the 50,500 schools in France announced the opening next week. A large part of the schools will be opened, welcomed Jean-Michel Blancé.
