Tax holidays provided to markets and cafes in Uzbekistan

Small business entities in Uzbekistan are exempt from payment of land tax and property tax from June 1 to September 1, 2020. This was reported in the Telegram-channel of the state tax service with reference to the relevant decree of the Head of State. During the summer period, markets and trading complexes, public catering enterprises, public transport, cinema, sports and health institutions, as well as companies in the field of domestic services are exempt from these taxes. Small business entities will zero property and land tax for April, May, as well as penalties and fines from January 1, 2020. In addition, the state fund for support of entrepreneurs compensates interest on investment loans and on loans for replenishment of working capital in the amount of less than 500 million sums ($49 thousand).
