Chinese authorities protest US plans to deploy missiles

Chinese authorities oppose plans by the United States to deploy medium-range missiles in the Asia-Pacific region (APR), said Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian. If the United States continues to adhere to this deployment plan, then this will be a provocation for China right on the threshold of his house, he said, adding that China will not sit idly by and take all the necessary decisive retaliatory measures. According to the news agency, earlier the Chinese authorities expressed a strong protest to the US leadership for increasing pressure against the Chinese media that work in the territory of this country.
