The court in Kiev decided not to elect the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko a preventive measure in the criminal case on his appointment as deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. The court session takes place today, July 8. We are talking about one of the cases against Poroshenko, which concerns the appointment of Sergei Semochko as deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. The investigation believes that in 2018 Poroshenko forced the head of the special services Yegor Bozhka to appoint Semochko. At today's meeting, the prosecutor announced that the investigation into the appointment of Semochko has been completed and the state prosecution does not see the advisability of choosing Poroshenko a preventive measure.
